TWPC Health and Safety Fair a Success!

On May 17th, TWPC Health and Wellness Committee sponsored its annual Health/Safety Fair.

This year’s theme was A Pathway to Healthy Living. TWPC teamed up with PME Communications to provide a very informative event for everyone. There were over 30 booths for the employees to visit.

Employees were able to get various screenings like vision, blood work, carotid arteries biometrics, dental and more.  There were plenty of safety booths such as the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s Jets Ski Simulator to discuss boating safety and the Tennessee Highway Patrol booth which employees had fun trying to walk wearing Drunk Goggles.  The employees joined in with their own ideals and passions such as a hiking booth, bicycle booth and the Tour de Cure.

Along with the resourceful information, there were also plenty of door prizes and giveaways such as a bag of groceries from Earth Fare, Sun Screen from Sol Bar, snacks from Star Vending, water from Crystal Springs and more.
